Our last day of vacation.
We arose early and went back to look at the horses.
Afterward, we went back to the VRBO and checked out and got on the road. We are headed back to Kansas City but stopping at a few sites on the way back.
First, we stopped at Haun's Mill. It's a pretty painful sight in church history as there was a massacre there many years ago.
We also stopped in Hamilton Missouri - known as Quilt City USA. Mom was very excited to visit all the stores. It was actually really cool!
Grandma LOVES this lady...she single handedly saved this town and turned it into a major tourist site of quiltor's all around the USA!
There is even a "man cave" in the town for the men to hang out while the women visit the quilt stores.
We finally made it back to Kansas City where we enjoyed a BOMB dinner at place called Q39! Probably the best food we'd had all. trip!
It was sad to say goodbye to my sister and her family, but it made it a little easier knowing we would see them in September for our Disneyland trip!
