Sabrina's 16!

Oh boy...It's a big one!  Where have 16 years gone?  Sabrina decided to have a bunch of friends over for a carne asada feast.

She requested lemon cupcakes, her favorite

Some of the teenagers
More teenagers...
And then even more teenagers...
She was very embarrassed that we (meaning I) insisted on singing to her but hey...it's not every day that your daughter turns 16
Make a wish...
Most of the group...so thankful for great friends that she has met and can spend time with
We celebrated her actual birthday down in San Diego over Labor Day.  She shared her day with baby cousin Ian, which was fine with her - it was a great day!
Not to excited to get her picture taken
Kiley and Scotty with Grace and CJ

Her first CAR!!

She was VERY excited to get a digital camera

Back to School

The time has come, most parents have a party but I was so sad...sad to be back to schedules, and homework, and dance, piano and soccer, sad to not be able to just wake whenever we wanted and decide what we would do that day...but I guess you can't party forever.
School's here better get in gear...

Our little Gracie started stepping stones preschool, which is amazing, but I will be honest, it's a bit hard for a girl that doesn't wake up early and likes to graze on her breakfast for 2 hours or so.  She goes 2 days a week for 5 hours which is long (in my opinion).  She came home very tired the first 2 weeks but seems to be getting more used to it.  She does LOVE it, especially all the crafts and painting.

Allie was excited to start 4th grade.  She has Mr. Sawatsky this year

Sabrina's 1st day of her Junior year..
And then there's the boy...he's hanging with mom - much to his dismay some days.

Allie's 9!

Let's get the cliche out of the way..."time sure flies"...summer was fast and Allie turned 9!

We celebrated a few times...first at the beach with all the "Olson" side...appropriately in "Oceanside".

CJ and Molly
Baby Ellie
She is her daddy's kid...she LOVES the water

Allie and Luke the "boogie boarders"
Allie requested blue rainbow chip cupcakes with buttercream frosting

The birthday girl

Tryg loved the cupcakes
Allie and her Ipod shuffle, you know the one "promised" her when she went down the water slide at Knott's Soak City

The cousins
The next day, we had dinner with the Lops side...for family dinner....

After we got home to Visalia, she had a movie night with 10 friends...

After the movie, we had a dance party - it was so fun and cute to see all these kids having fun and dancing together
