Baby Shower & Winchester Mystery House

December 8th
We headed to San Jose to visit Sabrina & Brad and to attend their baby shower.
It was so fun!
After the shower we went to the Winchester Mystery House.
I had visited this place when I was in High School and thought we would have fun!
Which we did!
The place is so interesting and cool!
Stairs up to the ceiling...for no reason!
The center of the house - the only place that had a secret door.
We just kept thinking what a crazy place to play hide and seek!
This was cool...stairs went down and then up to a different level on the other side of the house.
 A window in the floor...
It did have a lot of beautiful stain glassed windows...

I loved this "old-fashioned" freeway sign!

Life is pretty crazy busy lately!
We've tried to make some time for fun things among all of the busyness!

All the youth that wanted to could march in the parade singing Christmas Songs!
It was really nice!
We ran into our friends the Mitchell's and sat with them at the parade!
Allie - marching, waving and smiling!
With CJ turning 9...he's advanced to a Bear!
He was very excited!

Something the kids can do at school is to earn PAWS Tickets.
When you earn enough tickets you can buy things...
she chose to "buy" - Yard Duty for the day!
She was so cute in her vest, walkie talkie and Whistle!
She was my helper for the day!
Another thing she paid for was to be the first person to have her name on the Markee...
"Grace Lops is a Mighty Husky!"
She is so cute!

Disneyland!!

In October, my Sister and her family went to Disneyland.
We went down and met them for the day!
It was so much fun!
Scott had to work, so I drove down Sunday afternoon with the kids.
They didn't know we were going to Disneyland - I told them we were just going to have lunch at the park and play with the cousins.

They were SOOOO excited!
Disneyland is simply the best!
Lillie was my little buddy for some of the rides!

Enjoying the jungle cruise!
and Corn Dogs for LUNCH!! :) Yes!
The best!

The one long line we stood in all day!

Ice cream for dinner!

We were so sad to have to leave...but we bought passes so we can enjoy it again, and again and again!

CJ's first year playing flag football was awesome!
Chad and Clint were the coaches and he loved it!

They were the best!
They had a GREAT season!
Coach Scott and Coach Paul in action!
 They won almost every game!
