Christmas in San Diego!

We love to be in San Diego for Christmas, even if it is so stressful sometimes.

When we got their Grace and Grandma made divinity...yum!

Annual tradition of decorating cookies...
Christmas Eve

Christmas morning is the best, watching the kids open presents it never gets old.
I started to not feel so good this morning, I had a sore throat (probably COVID).

Over the next couple of days, I still didn't feel great but I tried to get up and out - we hiked with Maria and her sister.
Everyone ended up getting kind of sick, but felt ok for New Year's Eve at Mark's house.  We did manage a couple of movies, that I didn't get pictures of and I did go shopping with Mom on Monday after Christmas.

December Festivities

Our family tradition is always to go get our tree the day after thanksgiving.

This year was no exception...instead of going to a bunch of places, we just went to LOWES...:)

One of my favorite ornaments :)

 Lumpia at Grandma's house...

Luke went to Utah for a pitcher's clinic and got to see Allie!

Grace had her Christmas dance recital

One of our favorite December traditions involved being a part of other peoples tradition.  The Myer's family does an advent dinner and we got to join them one Sunday in December.  It is so fun...we are so thankful for fun, kind friends that include us in these types of events.

It was Elder Raymond's birthday, so we celebrate him...we love him!
We had our Family Christmas in Visalia with Sabrina, Brad, Crew and Ace.  They aren't coming with us to San Diego so we celebrate early with them.

This guy loves to dress up...so we got him a bunch of costumes to wear :)

and Grace had her friends over for some fun activities!
