A week of music

One thing I love about Visalia is their dedication to music in the schools.  They have music in all the schools and concerts to show the work they have done.
Up first was Sabrina's Spring musical.  It was a tribute to Broadway, the Ranger Choir sang songs from the musical Hairspray.

Then Gracie had her Spring Musical Performance at her Stepping Stones Pre-School.  They worked really hard and were so cute.  Afterwards we toured her classroom and saw some of her work.

CJ can't wait to go to Stepping Stones...thankfully that's a year away :)
Finally, Allie had her musical performance at the Convention Center in Downtown Visalia.  All of the elementary schools that funnel into Green Acres middle school were in attendance, over 1000 kids.  It was amazing to see them sing.

Memorial Day Weekend Ward Party

On Saturday, May 25th, our ward had a picnic that included a patriotic parade.  All the primary children were invited to decorate their bikes or scooters to participate in the parade.  Allie, Grace and CJ were very into it.  We went all over town looking for decorations - Beverly's, Joann's, Dollar Store, etc.  The morning came and they were up bright and early to start decorating.  It was a really fun time.  I brought some mini cupcakes for dessert.
