I got super sick the day after Christmas!
Sicker than I have been in a long time, then my mom got sick,
so we took it easy for a few days...
When we felt a little better we decided to get out and do a little hike at Mission Trails on December 28th!
We found these holes that the Indians used to grind acorns into flour,
The Old Mission Dam
On December 29th we attempted to see Star Wars...FAIL...sold out...so we went to lunch in Pt. Loma to try Slater's 50/50,
very good, but service wasn't great - it took forever...
but at least we saw planes fly over every 5 minutes or so!
Then we went to Mt. Soledad's Veteran's Memorial.
It has one of the best views in San Diego
Sabrina holding the temple in her hand.
New Year's Eve Bowling!
Sabrina had to work but at least she left us a plaque for us to remember the 300 she once got! (J/K)
We had our annual Soupapalooza night on New Year's Eve!
Scott and I made Pho (Der's Recipe), it was delicious!
Happy New Year!
New Year's Day was so nice!
We spent the night with Grandma Lops and then just hung out all day watching football, etc.
In the evening, Grandma Lops made a Rib Roast and everyone came over.
It was so nice, the kids had fun!
CJ and Grace learned how to play checkers
Star War's Marathon..
On January 2nd we finally saw it!
We LOVED it!
and we LOVED the theater we saw it in too!
On Monday, January 4th we went to watch Sabrina play soccer.
Then tried the most delicious home made ice cream sandwich shop afterward...
We had a great time with each other and our families!
