Grace is 13!

How did that happen!

Honestly, she is a light in our life!

We enjoy her love of life and all things - she's happy, joyful, loves to still be a "kid" - doesn't want to grow up too fast (which I am thankful for)

Still loves Harry Potter, and reading in general, loves to play the flute, loves soccer and dance and is a "joiner of all things"

school cohorts, intramurals, etc.

Doesn't want to miss out on anything!

 She did have a couple friends over to celebrate her with a movie night in the garage :)

 

 

Crew is 2!

He is so fun and crazy, boundless energy, repeats everything you say and never stops moving!

We are so blessed to have them live in Visalia so we see him often...he is a total joy!

We tried (unsuccessfully) to start a hiking club with some friends - we made it out on two hikes before everyone's schedules were too hard!

It was fun while it lasted..

January & CJ is a Deacon

 The Pennsylvania Olson's had to go home on January 2nd, so we had a "Surprise" early birthday for Timmy before they left...breakfast burritos with a candle :)

NOTHING beats the San Diego Sunsets!

We did another hike to the swings...we are so blessed to do so much adventuring with my mom and her friends but Scott usually misses out on them because of work - so we were excited he could go on this one with us!

We also did Torrey Pines one more time...

And the event of the month was when CJ was ordained a Deacon and received the Priesthood...definitely not in a normal way because of the Pandemic but in a very special memorable way - just Scott, Dad and my brother Mark in person but joining on zoom were Brandon's family, Scotty's Family, Mandy's family, our best friends in Visalia, - Behan's, Brown's and Peterson's and our Bishop Brett Abbott and 2nd Counselor TJ Bunnell

 

Christmas Week FUN with cousins in San Diego!

We took a great trip to Cabrillo National Monument...it was so fun - spending time together, enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Afterward we had dinner at In-N-Out...

 followed by Ice Cream at Handels...

We hiked Torrey Pines, it was amazing but the tide was HIGH - so it was a little sketchy to walk so close to the cliffs and as we saw later in the day there was a cliff collapse - we felt very grateful that nobody was hurt.

One final hike down by Lake Hodges...

Last night with the Pennsylvania Olsons :(

We did Woofums and tried to soak it all in before they had to leave.
