We took a quick day trip up to Mist Falls Trail in Kings Canyon National Park!
It was amazing!
There was so much snow this winter that the river was flowing!
We took a quick day trip up to Mist Falls Trail in Kings Canyon National Park!

It's pretty good trail - 8 miles round trip!
Pretty sure we didn't tell the kids before we started! :)
It was so beautiful along the way that there wasn't too much complaining!
When you get to the top there are rocks to sit on...we brought our lunch and had a picnic!

Both Tiana and I felt like the WORST moms - our kids had hundreds of mosquito bites after the hike!
We learned a HUGE lesson..NEVER hike again without insect repellent!
