Disney Wonder Cruise - Day 1

THE  BEST  TRIP  EVER!!!
SOOOOOOO FUN!
Still sad that it is over...
We looked forward to it for so long...and then just like "THAT" it was over!
We were dropped off down at the boat around 1pm.
Security and boarding were a breeze - Disney really knows how to make it as nice as possible!
Even waiting in line everyone was all smiles! :)

The main lobby on the ship was beautiful.
When we first boarded the ship a lady with a beautiful Australian accent says over the loud speaker, "We welcome the Lops Family"...the kids thought that was awesome!
We spent a few hours wandering around the ship, exploring all they have to offer.  The kids club was called "Oceaneer's Lab" - it was amazing and the kids loved it.
Our ship was called the "Disney Wonder".
We sailed away around 4:30pm - they have a fun party called "The Sail-Away Celebration".  We all congregate on the top deck as the ship pulls away from San Diego.
All of the Disney character's come out.  They play music and dance and welcome all to participate...

It was so fun!

Beautiful San Diego Bay!
Doreen, Scott, Sue and Pam

We had dinner every night at 5:45.
The Disney Wonder has 3 dining rooms.  You rotate through them throughout your stay.  Our first night was in the Animator's Palette.  It is a beautiful black and white room.  They had black and white Disney sketches on all the walls.  The attention to detail is what is the most amazing thing about the Disney ships.  They just know how to do everything so right!
Heading to dinner!
Inside the Animator's Palette
The family dinner time was one of our favorites.

They even had the most beautiful menus...
and table decor!
Mickey Mouse Ketchup!
The Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bars were the favorite.
After they have served your dinner and right before they bring dessert they have a great show.
The screens on the wall start to play animation and you get to try and guess what character it will be.  Then all of the servers dance throughout the room...

Then Mickey Mouse shows up!
Then the kids go wild...:)
Allie was so stuffed from dinner that when Milton (our beloved Server) asked what she wanted for dessert, she said "Nothing"...so they brought her this....

One of the many delicious desserts...
We were even pretty excited about going to bed because we had our Mickey Mouse PJ's on...
need a good night sleep to be ready for a fun day at sea tomorrow!!
We can't wait for the week ahead!
