It seems weird to write about spring break when it's 94 degrees outside and it's May 13th. But alas, those are the circumstances...We headed to San Diego for our beloved Spring Break to visit family and stay with my parents. When we first got there, my mom said she had a present for Gracie...this hat...she loved it!
The kids had a ball playing with cousins and having fun. One day we made these cupcakes...Chocolate chip cookies, mashed potatos & butter, peas & carrots, spaghetti & meatballs, blueberry pie and pizza....they thought it was great fun.
CJ and timmy bonded over their love of trains.
We all went to the zoo together. Allie and Luke have really wonderful relationship.
After the zoo we were able celebrate with our niece/cousin Emma for her 7th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese...Emma was able to go in the ticketblaster and she picked Allie to go in it with her.
Sabrina wanted to go into the blaster as well.
And then Gracie and CJ gave it a shot...I think that gathered about 5 tickets.
We had to head home on Friday so Scott could be in a fishing tournament so we were able to celebrate Easter in our home.
Gracie was very excited about her horse book that the Easter bunny brought her.
Allie was equally excited about her DVD "The Music Man".
And I love this picture because it's proof a "teenager" can be happy :)
Finally, our boy and his basket...love those eyes :)
